E-MAIL FROM OCTOBER 18, 2008 RITZ-CARLTON REYNOLDS PLANTATION WEDDING CLIENT
Doug,
I am writing to say how thoroughly impressed we were with MC2K’s performance at our wedding last Saturday (10/18). They were courteous, professional, and amazing musicians. We had heard that the music will either make or break a wedding reception …and MC2K made our reception a hit. The musicians went out of their way to play all the requests of our guests, which meant the dance floor was packed the entire time. I only wish we had more time to dance.
Is MC2K available on 10/18/2018 (our 10 year anniversary)? haha
If you ever need a recommendation – I would be happy to provide one.
Thanks
Graham Schell
E-MAIL FROM DECEMBER 3, 2005 BARNSLEY GARDENS CORPORATE CLIENT
Doug, I wanted to thank you so very much for a great party. The guests were all in awe at the outstanding job Mixed Company did. The band really blew everyone away and folks were still talking about it at breakfast. The vocals were exactly as I imagined they would be. The band members were fantastic.
Again, thanks so much for a job well done. You made our party something that will be talked about for a very long time. I don't know how we will be able to top it at next year's party.
Merry Christmas!

E-MAIL FROM OCTOBER 9, 2004 RITZ-CARLTON ATLANTA WEDDING CLIENT
Hi Doug, I am sorry for the delay in getting back to you. Well, you did
what you said you would do... you and your band provided outstanding
entertainment for the guests at Wendy and Russell's reception. At any given
time there were many more people on the floor dancing than at their seats.
Just as you said, they all enjoyed the meal (which was outstanding as well)
while they were eating it but the remarks after the reception were all about
the band and the dancing - the fun stuff.
Did the band stay later than originally planned? I seem to recall an
announcement that you would be playing longer??? Did I hear that or was I
on another planet at that point?
Anyway, I want to thank you for the wonderful entertainment. I liked the
way your band just played music and you didn't carry on with the mindless
chatter that some DJ'S and band leaders do. Many of them are on an ego
trip and want the attention to be on themselves rather than on the bride and
groom and their guests. I had a fabulous time at W&R's reception and
danced by brains out. I apologize for not taking the time to meet you but
I was having so much fun with the guests that I neglected to do so. The
memory of her reception is nothing short of an amazing time. That was her
goal - to have a party to remember and you played a huge part in fulfilling
that goal for her.
Thanks, Debbie Sullivan - aka as mother of the bride!

Doug:
Everyone I spoke with absolutely loved you guys. My drummer and
guitarist as well as myself were commenting on the Stevie Ray Vaughan
that was being played during dinner. I loved it so much I could
barely eat. I am especially grateful that you were able to assist me
in performing the special song for Andrea... you guys made me sound
infinitely better. I posted a check today for a tip for the band
members. I am very grateful to your band.
Once again, thank you. Your band made my reception what it was. No
one can remember what they had for dinner...but everyone can remember
dancing to "Brown-eyed Girl".
Cheers,
Lou
E-MAIL FROM JULY 17, 2004 PRIMROSE COTTAGE WEDDING CLIENT
Doug, I just wanted to thank you all so much for providing us with the most wonderful music for Laura and Brad's wedding reception. I had utmost confidence that you would pull off an unforgetable evening, and I was not disappointed. Susan and Brittany were such an asset. Thank you for seeing to all the details and for bearing with Primrose Cottage????? They certainly do have some strange requirements. Our guests never knew what went on behind the scenes. You all were so easy to work with. As I told a friend, my best compliment to Mixed Company is that you have a class act and I never have to worry about being embarassed. Thanks again. Hope to see you in the near future.
Sincerely,
Debbie deVeer
E-MAIL FROM JUNE 12, 2004 CARL HOUSE WEDDING CLIENT
Dear Doug:
Many thanks to you and the rest of Mixed Company for playing for Adrian and Brett's wedding at the Carl House on June 12th. Adrian and Brett especially enjoyed their first dance song, Me and You!! Thank you all so much for making Adrian's dreams come true!
Just as with Ansley's wedding in 2000, our guests loved your band! We just wish there was more time to dance---the evening passed by so quickly!!
Charles and I want to also thank you for your professionalism once again.
Now, that we have both daughters married, we are trying to think of some other event you can play for us.
Take care.

Dear Mixed Company,
Thank you so much for your magical performance at our wedding on 5-25-02. Our reception must have been the party of the year. Your entertainment kept people moving all night long, including my groom and me. I am still getting phone calls from guests who tell me how much fun they had at our wedding and that it was the most fun they have had at a wedding. You were all very professional and convey trust just with your presence, so we knew right away what was in store for us that night.
You made our wedding night a party that we will never forget. Thank you so much.

Dear Mixed Company,
Thank you VERY much for the incredible job you did at our wedding on August 7th. EVERYBODY loved the band, and people have called to say how wonderful you were. I was honestly sad when it was time to go, because we wanted to dance all night! The evening flew by! "Arms of an Angel" was a WONDERFUL treat, and the most special song of the evening. Special thanks to Susan..... your voice was gorgeous at the wedding, and you put many of our guests in tears. Thank you so much. Rick and I are trying to come up with reasons to have another big party so that we can hire you again! We would be honored to act as a referral if you have any inquiring couples.
Sincerely,
Lori and Rick Snouffer

So glad to see you are still around. You played our wedding at the State Botanical Gardens in Athens on 7/24/99. It was a blast, thanks you your group. Just wanted to let you know a referral is better made late than never. So, In that vein, I've referred you (and still have an old tape cassette) to a neighbors' daugher who is getting married here in Marietta. Would love for them to have the same great experience with a band as we did. Just FYI.
Sincerely,
Happy New Year, Leah Ferris Yankus
